Newly Polished

Hi you guys,

 

Time for us to share a new Collection. These beauties are from IsaDora's Golden Edition Collection:

 

 

As you can see, they have re-released some glitter polishes from their Holographic Nails Collection. I'll share one of them with you now but I'll show more in a separate post.

 

I haven't had time to swatch the lipsticks, but I'll share this close up pic for now!

 

Here's a combinaton swatch where I've used the holographic glitter Gold Digger, Gold Flakes (with Gold Digger on top) and Dark Truffel. 

 

I love Dark Truffel - the dark burgundy color is amazing and the formula is good. I do however have some trouble with Gold Flakes. I find it a bit difficult to get a nice, smooth finish because of the metallic formula with chunky glitters in it.

Today I'm sharing something a bit different with you guys. I saw that L'oréal Paris was releasing a new 'Collection Exclusive' with Naomi, Blake and J Lo on Instagram last week and I couldn't help myself... I had to get them all!

 

And to add to the fun, my birthday was last Sunday and my boyfriend bought me a new macro lens for my camera! I'm so happy with it and I've been taking a tone of photos. So prepare to be photo bombed! Lol.

 

 

First up is Naomi's Delicate Rose. Let's start with the lipstick. None of them are super pigmented but I actually liked that! I feel that I've been wearing a lot of matte liquid lipsticks and, as much as I love them, I felt that these lipsticks had a more soft, everyday wear-feeling.

 

The nail polish was a bit tricky to apply, but boy, is it worth the little struggle! I've painted Three quite thin coats. The swatches are all without top coat so you can see that the shine is beautiful.

 

Among these Three sets, Naomi's is probably the one where the lipstick and nail polish colors are the closest match.

 

 

   

 

 

Next up is Blake's Delicate Rose. Both the lipstick and nail polish are a lovely, peachy pink but they are not twins. The lipstick applies really some on your lips and the formula for the lipstick is good as well! I do feel that I would have loved this even more if it was released in the spring and not mid October, but hey, then I'll just get to save this baby for next year!

 

 

 

 

Last, but not least, is J Lo's Delicate Rose. I don't know what has gotten into me this season, but I love everything with a berry tone or color! So, now that you know that, you won't be surprised to know that I loved these shades as well. The lipstick is more berry-ish than the nail polish.

 

I've read that some other bloggers were a bit disappointed with the pigment for this one, but like I wrote before, I really like the softer feeling you get when it's not super pigmented.

'I Drive a Supernova' is also a mix between metallic och shimmer. Unfortunately, I feel like I've seen this silver-y polish before, and not just once. The coverage is good and is opaque in two coats.

'Press * For Silver' is a silver-ish metallic polish but with a hint of pink or rose gold. Even though it does apply a bit streaky, I still like the color! One of the reasons is probably because I don't a nail polish like this. Two coats for full coverage.

All right, now we're talking! 'Let you love shine' is a red shimmer polish. I absolutely love the shimmer and sparkle! I applies beautifully and is opaque in two coats. I definitely feel like I could wear this color for Christmas!

 'Guys & Galaxies' is one out of the everyday wear-colors from this collection. It's a gorgeous dark, burgundy and the formula is perfect! One of my favorites. Two yummy coats for full coverage.

 

OPI's description of 'Ce-Less-Tial Is More' is 'a pink super-glitter with heavenly light' and I couldn't agree more! It dries matte and textured, pretty much like the liquid sand polishes, but I've applied top coat to this swatch and that does the trick if you prefer it shiny! It's jam packed with glitter and almost a one coater.

 

Say hello to 'No More Mr. Night Sky'! This color is dark, shimmery and a perfect shade of grey. I thoguh the formula was a bit thin at first but you get perfect coverage in two coats, so don't worry! This color is definitely perfect for New Year's.

  

  

Last, but DEFINITELY not least... 'Give Me Space'! I love, love, love this color! It so sparkly and deep that you can almost loose yourself in the color. My absolute favorite among the 18 colors. The formula is great and opaque in two coats.
